Chromatic Character Celebration is a gift exchange for art, fic, podfic, and vids that focus on one or more chromatic characters.
For the purposes of this event, a chromatic character is any character who is not white, not portrayed by a white actor, and/or is a member of a marginalized racial/ethnic group. This includes mixed-race characters (including white-appearing mixed-race characters) and Romani characters. More information about who counts as a chromatic character is available below.

They can be claimed here. The collection reveal will be pushed until one week from today (September 14, 23:59 UTC) at minimum. Again, work reveals will not happen until every participant who completed their assignment has a gift.

If you have already sent an email and been granted an extension for longer, that extension still applies and will not be affected by the 24-hour push.

Love & Legends and Villainous Nights: We're having trouble locating any information about any of the nominated characters' chromaticity. The wiki for the Lovestruck universe doesn't appear to have character pages for most of the nominated characters. Is there context we're missing?
If the nominator does not reply in 48 hours, we will accept these tags on the assumption that they were good-faith nominations.

For example:
"I'm nominating Nick Fury under Marvel's Ultimate Universe. The search results might be confusing since there are so many Nick Furies, but the Ultimate Universe version of Fury is Black."
Or:
"I want to nominate James Nichols from Eric Flint's Ring of Fire books. Since he might not come up on google search, I wanted to let you know he's canonically Black."
