1. For the exchange itself, if you match on an individual character (I know it’s all in the character field but not a group), can you include info in your sign-up about shipping and character dynamics you might be interested in as long as you don’t box your gifter in?
For example, for Benjamin Sisko there’s multiple platonic and shippy dynamics I’m interested in that solely feature chromatic characters, some that feature Sisko &/ a white character, and like one ship I’d absolutely DNW and I’d also be fine with a solo fic where Sisko is the only character because he’s trapped on Empok Nor or chilling in a curtain fic on a cabin in Bajor.
2. Could you match on a fandom where you’d be happy to receive a work that’s solely about that fandom but opt-into crossover elements if the gifter is interested?
Like, match on Doctor Who with Group: Martha Jones/Bill Potts, but note in your letter sign up that you’d be fine with any chromatic starfleet or Star Wars character showing up in the fanwork if that’s something the gifter would be interested in?
